Welcome to Dove's Island Nest, a two bedroom condo with ocean views and three private balconies, steps from the beach in St. Augustine. Each bedroom has a king bed, and a daybed with a roll-out trundle in the second bedroom brings the total to six, alongside two full bathrooms and a half bath. Guests have full use of the community pool, the tennis courts, the shuffleboard court and a clubhouse with ping pong, plus a shared grilling area for anyone who brings charcoal.

Light is the first thing most guests notice. The condo looks out toward the water, and the ocean view from the living area changes through the day, so the room feels different in the morning than it does at dusk.

Three private balconies set this condo apart from most two bedroom units nearby. Both bedrooms have one of their own, which gives everyone somewhere quiet to sit while the living room is busy.

Each bedroom has a king bed, and the second bedroom also holds a daybed with a roll-out trundle, which brings the total to six and makes that room a natural fit for a family with children. Two full bathrooms, each with a shower, and a half bath serve that group comfortably.

The kitchen is equipped for cooking a real dinner rather than reheating one, and the table seats everyone at once.

The community is part of the stay here, with a swimming pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard and a clubhouse with a ping pong table, plus a shared grilling area, with hours posted at each.

The entire condo is yours, all three balconies included, along with full use of the community pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, clubhouse and grilling area.

We also leave a starter supply of the basics, including toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap and laundry soap. It is enough to carry a group through the first day or two, and guests staying a week or longer usually find it worth picking up more at the grocery store nearby.

A car is the easiest way to get around here, and there is parking on site.

The beach is a short walk across the community, so the sand never requires the car. The historic district is a short drive north, where the public parking garages save a good deal of circling on a busy weekend.

Rideshare is reliable throughout the area, and bike and golf cart rentals are widely available for anyone who would rather not drive.

For guests flying in, Jacksonville International is roughly an hour north and Orlando is a little under two hours away.

• We are not able to host pets at this property. A guest who brings one risks a cleaning charge and cancellation of the reservation, so please ask us ahead of time if you have any question about it.
• Assistance animals are welcome and never carry a fee. We appreciate a note before arrival so that housekeeping and the front office know to expect you, though it is not a condition of your stay.
• Florida weather is worth planning around. We recommend travel insurance for any trip booked during hurricane season, because it protects you in ways a cancellation policy cannot, and if a storm does affect your dates we will work through it with you under the policy you booked under.
• Quiet hours run from 10pm to 8am, and sound carries between balconies more than most guests expect.
• Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere in the condo or on the balconies, and we do not allow parties or events of any kind. The guests named on the reservation are the guests who stay.
• The pool, tennis courts and clubhouse are shared with residents, so please observe the posted hours and keep glass out of the pool area.
• Please keep towels and swimsuits off the balcony railings, close the balcony doors while the air conditioning is running, and lock up and take the trash out when you leave.
• The guest booking this property must be at least 21 years of age when they book and stay with us. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, as well as to comply with local laws and regulations.
• The booking price includes a property damage protection fee to cover up to $3,000 of coverage for accidental contents damage and accidental property damage. Any damage or accident that is not covered under the policy will be the responsibility of the guest. Damage amounts in excess of damage insurance will be charged to the guest.
• All primary guests must complete the online pre-arrival form/contract via the PMI St. Augustine Guest Portal prior to their check-in date. This will help to ensure that all guests have easy access to the property and arrival information needed for a hassle-free check-in process.
